CROWN GREEN BOWLING
Glaxo Bowling Club
Enjoy the sport of Crown green bowling
Our Crown Green is second to none and the Bowling Club is a long established and well organised club where individuals can play for pleasure or partake in league games.
ALL ABOUT US
The Glaxo Bowling Club provides the facility and the opportunity for members of the GSK Sports & Social Club to take part in and enjoy the sport of Crown green bowling.
The club has teams that play competitively in the local leagues, 1 team in the Furness league who play on a Friday evening, 2 teams in the Ulverston league who play on a Wednesday evening, and a Senior team for the over 65’s who play in the senior Citizens league on a Monday afternoon. It is hoped for the 2016 season that we can form a 2nd team to play in the Furness League on a Saturday afternoon, to achieve this we need 16 new players, so new members would be most welcome.
Members also met up to play socially and practice and would welcome new players who would like to come along and give bowling a try.
The GSK Bowling Club can be found on the site of the GSK Sports Complex and provides both the facility and the opportunity for GSK Sports Club members and their guests to take part in, and enjoy, the outdoor sport of Crown Green Bowling.

Pre-season taster sessions will be scheduled for Spring 2016
In the meantime, why not come along as a spectator to see what goes on.
